Lasers use cutting-edge technology for the elimination of various birthmarks, pigmentation spots, scars, facial and leg veins, as well as the removal of unwanted hair.  AURORA RF (FOTOFACIAL TREATMENT)

This revolutionary new and hot technology is ideal for treating rosacea, acne, uneven or dark pigmentation, wrinkles, and facial veins. The Aurora couples IPL technology with radiofrequency, which allows the use of lower light energy, making it the safest IPL available for the skin's surface. The use of radiofrequency also means that the Aurora can safely perform hair removal from even the darkest skin, and is of great help in the resolution of shaving bumps that effect so many women as well as men. This unique system also is able to remove unwanted hair that is blonde or light in color. The treatments are easily tolerated, with only a slight tingling feeling, and sometimes the sensation of a simple pinch, and side effects are exceedingly rare. Topical numbing cream is available, if desired, but not necessary for most patients. Fotofacials take about 30 minutes and have no downtime.   REFIRME™ ST (SKIN TIGHTENING)

Refirme™ ST (Skin Tightening) is our newest and most exciting laser treatment. Refirme ST gently lifts and tightens the jowls, nasolabial lines, crows feet and elevates the eyebrows, with no surgery required. It utilizes Infrared technology and radiofrequency energy (RF) to heat a very specific area of skin, causing the existing collagen in your skin to tighten and new collagen formation to start. This building block of the skin restores firmness and smoothness to skin. The procedure causes only minimal discomfort, although we do offer topical anesthetic cream upon request. Lasting results take approximately 3-5 in-office treatments with Refirme™ ST. After the treatment, you are up and ready to continue your day, no downtime required.  ERBIUM YAG LASER MICRO AND MINI PEELS

This unique Erbium Yag laser provides top of the line skin resurfacing that is precise and does not damage the deeper layers of skin. The NaturaLase LTE treatment is a laser peel, ideal for repairing skin that has been damaged from acne scars, melasma, veins, large pores and wrinkles. NaturaLase Laser Peels work safely on darker skin colors and tanned skin. The treatment takes 20-30 minutes, and is performed with a topical numbing cream. The NaturaLase utilizes a special technology that helps tailor the depth of the treatment and the resulting downtime to the social schedule of the patient. Redness and peeling vary from as little as 3 days to week. Because of the additive benefits of the treatments, there is no need to perform deep laser peels, and thus the potential risks of those deep peels can be avoided. The laser treatments work very well by themselves, as well as in conjuction with a series of FotoFacial treatments, in restoring the skin to it’s young, clear and smooth state.

The newest application is a treatment called “FotoFacials” (laser facials), consisting of gentle lasing of the face, neck, chest or other body areas, for the elimination of the signs of aging. Along with the improvement of fine lines and the appearance of flawless skin, red spots and other irregularities gradually disappear. Another new and exciting use for this laser is the treatment of Acne Cysts, eliminating the need for oral medications together with those disfiguring cysts.

 LASER FACIAL FOR WRINKLES

Depending on their depth and severity, wrinkles can be treated with mild and pleasant therapies such as Glycolic Peels, Microdermabrasion and FotoFacials or with such severe measures as laser resurfacing and face lifts. FotoFacials using the Pulse Dye laser are gentle, painless treatments that help stimulate the skin to produce new, healthy collagen normally found only in young skin. A bonus benefit is that facial blood vessels and redness also disappear with this treatment.  LASER FOR ACNE

For those who feel hesitant about the use of oral antibiotics or Accutane for treatment of Cystic Acne, now there is a new and successful alternative available. The Pulse Dye Laser can be used to clear up the large, red, painful cysts in a series of 3-4 treatments per area. If there is a flare in areas previously untreated, those have to be lasered in the same manner. Unlike Accutane, the laser cannot prevent future cysts, however eventually the areas repeatedly treated stop developing new ones. All this is accomplished without risking the potential side effects of Accutane or long term use of oral antibiotics. These lasers are wonderful in the removal of unwanted facial and body hair, as well as age spots and leg veins.

 AGE SPOTS

These brown marks, which can result from sun exposure and sometimes have a hormonal origin (Melasma), respond well to treatment with the Alexandrite laser. At times, a combination of Glycolic Peels, Microdermabrasion and the laser is utilized. Treatments are easily tolerated and medically safe. Of course you MUST use sunscreens to maintain your new flawless look.

  LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Not only women but also many men are bothered by hair growing in areas it doesn’t belong. The Alexandrite laser is highly successful in the elimination of unwanted hair by targeting the pigment in the root of the growing hairs.
