Dr. Antonia Kofinas, M.D. F.A.A.D (Board-Certified Dermatologist)

Antonia Kofinas, MD is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Kofinas specializes in diagnosing, treating and preventing disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. The NYC dermatologist is fluent in Greek and English.

After graduating magna cum laude from the highly selective Seven-Year B.A./M.D. program at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Science in Washington, D.C., Dr. Kofinas returned to her native New York where she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Northshore/LIJ Medical Center. She received her specialty training in Dermatology at Stony Brook Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Kofinas is a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. She has extensive training in dermoscopy, a specialized tool for early skin cancer detection. Dr. Kofinas specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis and practices cosmetic dermatology.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter, and their adorable puppy.
